The National Youth Adoption Foundation focuses on improving the livelihood and academic, physiological, social and emotional trajectory for foster care youth and adoptees in Illinois. National Youth Adoption Foundation seeks to be the catalyst between elevating the standard in the prime developmental years of American underserved youth through connecting with families for greater impact in the family post-placement. Once a student has achieved college preparedness and is in his or her sophomore or junior year of high school, they can apply for the National Youth Scholarship based on academic standing and community merit. The scholarship can be utilized for admission to any four-year state university in Illinois.
